Canon 212
§1. Conscious of their ain responsibility, the Christian true-blue are bound to follow with Christian obedience those things which the sacred pastors, inasmuch as they represent Christ, declare every bit teachers of the faith or establish every bit rulers of the Church.
2. The Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, peculiarly spiritual ones, and their desires.
3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church building and to make their stance known to the residue of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of organized religion and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.

You overstate the case. The majority of Catholics who practise their religion oppose abortion strongly. I remember some of our Bishops do also. The trouble is that the balance are not and so much pro-abortion equally placing zipper to the party of abortion, the Democrats, above the fight against ballgame. Almost all Bishops pay lip service to the fight confronting abortion, but few are willing to do more than than that.

Not even counting the ones contracepted abroad, think what that population increase would practice to our "need" for "open up borders" and take-all-comers immigration…not to mention the ability to sincerely and conspicuously accost those policy bug of the republican party that might be legitimately criticized from a Catholic perspective.
But alas, the only bloc Catholics vote with is the bloc DEVOTED to the murder of TENS OF MILLIONS.
Catholics would have unbelievable leverage inside the democratic party if they fabricated clear they would never vote democrat once again until the party was solidly pro-life. It will never happen. Those folks have gone way across simply being complicit in evil. Later on the PP videos, no one in this country can vote for any democrat and pretend they take done anything other than keep the trains to Auschwitz running.
Begetter of Vii: Yes, yes. Democrat Part amalgamation is the organized religion of many Catholics who regard information technology's platform with much greater esteem than the teaching of Christ. I am not sure the average voter even really knows what is in the Democratic party platform. Or the GOP platform for that matter. The PP videos? Only a pocket-size handful even know about them. I was at a function last nighttime, and otherwise intelligent people barely knew who our governor, representatives, senators and the like were.

Some years dorsum, I met a lady who was clearly a Democrat. Or should take been. Merely because she had promised her uncle she would NEVER vote for i, she voted the most left of center Republican candidate she could in our area. I call up she might even have been a Republican delegate.

I've got (elderly) family members who are clearly right of center, who will NEVER, Always vote GOP, and vote consistently Democratic. The "center" has moved over the past forty years since they were at Woodstock, but they seem not to know information technology.

With all due respect, everyone knows that the Democratic political party supports ballgame on need. I've never met anyone who won't finally acknowledge this fact. I empathize all the reasons people still vote for the candidates of the political party of death. None of those reasons overcome the evil of abortion.
